Iranian and Saudi FMs meet on bilateral ties

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, have discussed issues pertaining to the resumption and development of bilateral ties. The meeting was held on Friday on the sidelines of the Friends of BRICS meeting in Cape Town in South Africa, said the Iranian Foreign Ministry in a statement. The Iranian foreign minister expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved toward the resumption of bilateral relations. The Saudi minister also expressed satisfaction with the “very good” progress, saying he will soon travel to Teheran.
